G.V. s.r.l. works in the porphyry sector since 1976, providing professional, efficient, and competent services.
The Company quarries Trentino Porphyry from a field located in the Montegaggio area of Albiano, in the heart of Atesina porphyritic platform.
All materials produced by the Company are available in the typical colours of Trentino Porphyry: rust, purple, and grey.
PORPHYRY
Porphyry (Rhyolite) is a very unique stone, which natural vertical stratification allows the extraction by detachment and fall.
The intrinsic mineralogical composition determines the technical features of Porphyry, such as high compressive strength, great hardness value and extreme wear resistance.
This makes Porphyry a very sought-after stone for paving and walling.
PRODUCTS
Products obtained directly after the sorting process of raw material.
Products cut by hydraulic machines, which split the stone leaving natural finish sides.
Products realised with diamond disc stone sawing machines .
Special and customized products, produced with numerically controlled (CNC) machines.
